Lakefront 3BR w/ Bunkhouse | Kayaks + Rowboat Incl

Not a place I would return to. Very affordable place to stay if you just need a bed for the night with low standards and Positive: The lake view and deck were extremely nice. Negative: The road to get to the property is extremely steep and is a 1 way gravel road. This is not ideal if you have a boat or you don’t have 4 wheel drive. It’s extremely dangerous at night. There is an abandoned property next door that had people driving up and going through the home with flashlights late at night. The home was not clean when we arrived, soiled linens and I’ve never seen so many bugs in my life. Everything we came home with had bugs dead and alive in them. The ac was never lowered under 70 but froze up night one and we had no ac the rest of the trip. All remotes were empty with no batteries, lightbulbs were burnt with no bulbs, exposed electrical wires everywhere. Poison ivy running rampant and the yard looks like it hasn’t seen a yard man in a long time. The host did respond quickly and sent a Maintenance guy out. He was an older man that was very friendly, but would just walk in and linger all day to visit. Not everything was fixed and not everything was addressed before leaving. We were so overwhelmed with the condition and had a baby and elderly grandparents, the place has so much potential but I would recommend this place even to a group of college boys. The place is clearly for parties. There were ping pong balls everywhere under the couch, so many things were loose and broken, there needs to be lights lining the steps going to the water and front porch .

This place is just exceptional. We had such a wonderful time. The property is spotless including the large windows over looking the lake. The dock is the perfect spot for a fire with a huge fire pit. There is a great place to get in your kayak and enjoy the beauty of this cove and Toledo Bend. There is a nice fish cleaning station at the dock. The supply room has everything you need and so organized. You don’t have to go searching for anything. Christie is easily accessible. We had no problems on our long weekend. Inside is a great kitchen stocked with anything you want to cook with. The bunk house is perfect and the beds very comfortable. This is such an enjoyable place.

This property is set up perfectly for gatherings for enjoying friends and family. The house and bunkhouse have comfortable furniture, and beds. Outside are plenty of places to enjoy from the dock with fire pit and fire wood to a swing with view of this special cove. The bathrooms were very clean with high pressure showers. The people cooking in the kitchen can visit with everyone in the open area. Lastly, my favorite spot was sitting in the comfortable lounge chair with my coffee at the large window watching the cove.

Our family really enjoyed all of the amenities of this property and the views were beautiful! The roads are steep so travel in your trucks😄the host was attentive and answered all our questions. The home satisfied all our needs and the “bunk house” was perfect for my daughter’s family😄
